WHY I HAVE CHOSEN A CAREER IN FINANCIAL PLANNING:
Growing up in small town Idaho, I learned to appreciate the dedicated efforts of hard-working individuals who planned ahead, exercised financial discretion, and saved to generate long-term wealth. I am a firm believer that those who retain the ability to delay, in part, their self-gratification in the short term will see the fruits of their labors come to fruition in the long term. That is why I love serving as a fiduciary to help deliver methodically organized and carefully considered financial planning to those that have worked so diligently to gather financial assets. It is a passion of mine to develop a strategy to optimally utilize those assets in order to achieve clients’ goals.
After graduating from West Point in 2012, I served five years as an Army Officer, deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Spartan Shield. Upon exiting as an Army Captain, I transitioned to the MBA program at the University of California – San Diego’s Rady School of Management.
MY FAMILY AND I:
I am married to my best friend and the love of my life, Lacy. Our Golden Retriever and cat keep us very busy. We love to explore the outdoors—soaking in the beautiful San Diego sunshine during hikes through the hills or walks along the beach. We have been very blessed and look forward to continuing our journey through life.
